Nicole Michelle Turkin, 31, of Mount Clemens, died Oct. 11, 2005.
She was born Jan. 24, 1974, in Mount Clemens, a daughter of James and Connie Walters. On Aug. 3, 1996, she married Mathew Turkin at the Church of Nazarene in Rochester Hills.
Mrs. Turkin previously managed Bo-Rics in Sterling Heights. She was a member of the Church of Nazarene in Rochester Hills and the VFW Auxiliary in Disco.
She is survived by her husband, Mathew; two children, Brandon and Daynera, both at home; her parents, James and Connie Walters of Romeo; a sister, Dawn (Jason) Jay of Sterling Heights; and her grandparents, Marie and Herman Hone of Shelby Township and Katherine Walters of Shelby Township. She was predeceased by her grandfather, Gordon Walters.
Services were held Saturday, Oct. 15, at Gramer Funeral Home, Diener Chapel in Shelby Township. Pastor Larry Crum officiated. Burial was in Utica Cemetery, Shelby Township.
